Interestingly this label also specifically references Karachi (Kurrachee) showing the considerable sphere of influence these textile companies had. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eLabels like this are unusual to find as they were mostly destroyed during the unpacking of textiles. We sourced these labels in Shekhawati in Rajasthan, whose residents became immensely wealthy trading with the west in Bombay \u0026amp; Calcutta.
