Here, a dignitary can be seen wearing traditional Chinese dress and a late Qing dynasty rank badge adorned with a tiger. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePith paper is the spongy cellular tissue in the stem of a small tree called Tetrapanax Papyrifera, native to southwest China.
