The square top is decorated with a \u003cstrong\u003elarge, subtly carved mandala\u003c\/strong\u003e, its lines softened by generations of use. The numerous marks and scratches across the surface add to its character and are an appealing record of its working life.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe top is further decorated with \u003cstrong\u003ebrass corner plates and small brass studs\u003c\/strong\u003e, while carved notches run along the edges of the base.
