In the top right of the woodblock, you can see the shogun watching the noh performance which can be seen on the upper left of the woodblock. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe noh play being performed is the story of Jo and Uba in a play about the spirits of the pine trees of Takasago \u0026amp; Sumiyoshi. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe triptych was originally published by Gusokuya in 1897.
