These 19th century Indian dog gates from Gujarat would have been used in front of the main entrance door of Gujarati havelis to keep animals out. This one is made from blue painted teak wood and boasts beautifully carved peacocks and a repeating jali lattice.
They make very interesting & decorative wall art or, for gates to a room. They do not come with hinges but get in touch for further advice.
