5 Drawer Carved Low "Kang" Cabinet From Shanxi - 19thC

This Kang Cabinet is ideal for use beneath a T.V or sound system and dates from the 19^th century. These were used beside the Kang which was a raised stone platform used as a bed or lounging area in wealthy homes. Traditionally, this was heated from underneath in the winter.
