These 19th century Indian pots are hand beaten and were originally used for drinking water in Kerala, South India. They're beautifully hammered with the original hammer marks still visible. They would have had a cover made from wood or metal.
This large pot would be ideal to store logs or hold a fruit tree, but it has a plethora of uses.
