Gilt Wooden Burmese Buddha Statue - 18thC

This 18th century Burmese Buddha is made from gilded wood and is Shan period. As is common with this style of Buddha, he is seated in the Bhumisparsha mudra with a meditave and calm face.
As is also common with these pieces, the Ushnisha (finnial) is broken.
