This beautiful large mirror has been created from an original 19th-century teak window frame from India. The frame retains its wonderfully distressed old green paintwork, with areas of wear revealing the natural teak beneath.
The upper section incorporates a finely carved Mughal-style arch with floral detailing, giving the mirror a particularly elegant architectural form. The original window has been carefully adapted with new mirror glass, preserving the character and patina of the antique frame while giving it a practical new use.
