Carved Mirror Made From Old Architectural Teak

This impressive carved mirror is made from old architectural teak reclaimed from a 19th-century building in Gujarat, India. The original timber has been repurposed to create the frame, retaining the deep hand-carved decoration and rich patina developed over many years.
The frame has several bands of detailed carving, including repeating floral and foliate motifs, with a particularly decorative carved lower section. Traces of old surface colour remain within some of the carving, adding to the character of the reclaimed wood.
This is not an antique mirror, but a newly made piece constructed from genuine antique architectural timber. It is supplied with sturdy hangers on the back for secure wall mounting.
