Nepalese Chest From Tribal Temang - 19thC

This incredibly sturdy chest is from Nepal and its design is indicative of the tribal Temang region.

Both functional and decorative, it boasts a large storage area with a discreet entrance hatch on the top held in place by a large locking pin.

Many years of use have left it with a beautiful patina and a wonderfully aged finish.
