This Anglo-Indian rosewood chair is made in the classic Regency style. Originally caned, the canework has been replaced in the early 20th century. 

These chairs were made in India for the British Raj and are a reminder of India's colonial past. Chairs were unusual to find in most of Asia as the majority of people slept, ate, and socialised on the ground.
