This old colonial Indian book cabinet dates to circa 1910. It is constructed from teak wood, and this style of cabinet was used in Indian government offices across India. Perfect for a storage cabinet or for large books. This style of cabinet generally comes from Gujarat.
This piece has four shelves concealed by horizontal bars across the doors and two drawers. It and has been sympathetically restored in our workshop and has retained its original brass hardware and fabulous patina.
