These pleated cotton lampshades have beautiful, subtle, muted tones. Made from 100% handwoven cotton and made by women in remote Assam, India as part of a project by the Tata Trust to encourage & support women to develop & retain traditional hand-loom skills. Designer, Hillie Grumbar of Samarkand was so impressed with these women's enthusiasm despite their many day-to-day challenges.
Supplied with a shade ring adapter for use with either an E27 or B22 fitting.
Shown paired with a Regency Style Bone Inlay Table Lamp.
