Stone Kundi Water Storage Pot For Planter - 19th Century

These storage pots were used for storing water in India and were known locally as 'Kundi.' Traditionally they were made from stone and so work perfectly as a planter in an English garden.
They can also be used as a bird bath or water feature.
Although the stone is frostproof water should be drained during freezing weather to avoid cracking
